Whitman Walker

Whitman-Walker Clinic seeks volunteers for our HIV/AIDS & Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender health programs at each of our four locations (NW downtown campus, Max Robinson Center in Anacostia, WWC Northern VA in Arlington and WWC Suburban MD in Takoma Park).

Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit community-based health organization serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. Established by and for the gay and lesbian community, our Clinic is comprised of diverse volunteers and staff who provide or facilitate the delivery of high quality, comprehensive, accessible health care and community services. Whitman-Walker Clinic is especially committed to ending the suffering of all those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Volunteers play an essential role in Whitman-Walker’s ability to deliver the necessary health services to the LGBT community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS by generously donating their time, talent, skills and energy. You can visit our website www.wwc.org/volunteer for detailed information regarding all volunteer opportunities.

We hope you will attend one of our upcoming General Orientations to learn more about how you can contribute to WWC’s mission through volunteering. There is no need to RSVP, just show up! We look forward to seeing you there.

Please e-mail Whitley Tucker at wtucker@wwc.org with any questions.
